Today we read aloud The Cows Are in The Corn. This story was about characters on a farm finding animals in the field crops on the farm. Once we completed the story, we made a list of the characters that were in the story. Next, each student was assigned a character from the story and the class participated in a Reader's Theater activity. Students had a great time acting like animals in the story and enjoyed discussing the details of the story.
